Gearing Up for Dragon Fruit Season: April Newsletter
Gearing Up for Dragon Fruit Season
Enter a world where vibrant color meets exceptional nutrition and sustainability. Our Nicaraguan dragon fruit ingredients deliver a striking magenta hue and strong nutritional benefits while supporting organic practices and smallholder farmers.
Truly organic: Our certified organic supply chain is supported by more than 15 agronomists. Dragon fruit is cultivated with regenerative methods that protect soil health and the surrounding ecosystem.
Vibrant color: Nicaraguan dragon fruit is rich in betalains, which provide its vivid magenta color and antioxidant properties. Its strong pigmentation can help formulators achieve vibrant results with less puree.
Superior nutrition: Our dragon fruit offers 88% more fiber, 70% more magnesium, and 60% more potassium than competing varieties.
Smallholder farmers: Each batch tells the story of farmers improving their land and communities. Sol Organica’s direct-trade model connects their harvests with global markets.
Explore our dragon fruit ingredients: dragon fruit puree, dried dragon fruit, IQF dragon fruit, and dragon fruit peel powder.

From Farm to Finished Ingredient
Our dragon fruit grows in nutrient-dense soil near the Masaya volcano. We work with more than 900 smallholder farmers, providing above-market prices and technical support for high-quality, additive-free ingredients.

Regenerative Practice: Basin Infiltration Pits
Basin infiltration pits collect rainwater, maintain soil moisture, and reduce erosion on steep terrain. Their size can be adapted to runoff volume, helping dragon fruit thrive through the rainy season.
